With a solid educational background, he earned a Doctorate in Entomology from Clemson University, preceded by a Master of Science in Entomology from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Norfolk State University. His commitment to advancing the industry is evident through active participation in various industry affiliations, including serving on the Editorial Advisory Board for Pest Management Professional Magazine and as a member of the NPMA Public Policy Committee.
